Photographer, curator, writer, and community builder exploring the creative culture of Second Life since 2007.
About Owl
I first arrived in Second Life in 2007 expecting to explore a virtual world. What I found instead was a creative community that has continued to surprise and inspire me ever since.
Over the years my journey has wandered through photography, writing, curation, landscape design, and community building. Along the way I’ve organized exhibitions, supported musicians, helped create creative spaces, photographed thousands of moments, and met remarkable people whose imagination continues to shape this virtual world.
Through Owl’s Eye grew naturally from those experiences. It is both a publication and a personal record of the artists, musicians, places, and communities that make Second Life worth returning to.

Creative Work
Photography
Photography has become one of the ways I explore Second Life. My images document galleries, live music, landscapes, community events, and the quiet moments between them. Some become stories on Through Owl’s Eye, while others find their way to Flickr as a visual journal of my travels. Selections of my photography can also be found at Cloud Galleries, Hoot Suite, and Port Emyniad & Enchanted Forest.
Art & Curation
Supporting artists has been a constant thread throughout my Second Life journey.
I help curate and care for several creative spaces, including Cloud Galleries, Maison de la Chouette, and Hoot Suite, where exhibitions, conversations, and community continue to grow.
My own artwork explores identity, transformation, and storytelling through photography, my Coco Doll, and my paperdoll avatar, Cardy, each offering a different way of exploring creativity and self-expression in Second Life.
Landscape Design
Creating landscapes has been part of my creative life for many years. I enjoy shaping environments that invite people to slow down, explore, and spend time together.
Many of the natural spaces I help care for today reflect that same philosophy.

Community
Community has always been at the heart of everything I do.
As one of the founding members of Corsica South Coasters, and one of the current stewards of Hippiestock, I’ve been fortunate to help organize exhibitions, live music, festivals, and gatherings that celebrate creativity and friendship across Second Life.
Those experiences continue to shape both my writing and the publication itself.
Exploration
Some of my favorite days are still spent simply wandering.
A quiet forest trail.
An unexpected gallery.
A musician performing for twenty people on a Tuesday afternoon.
Those discoveries remind me that Second Life is still filled with places worth exploring.

A Note From Owl
Second Life has given me friendships, inspiration, and more unexpected adventures than I ever imagined when I first logged in back in 2007.
If our paths cross at a gallery opening, a live music performance, somewhere along the roads of Corsica, or in a quiet corner of Bellisseria, I hope you’ll say hello.
The best discoveries are often shared.
See you around the grid.
