The View from the Corsica Tourist Center & Tea Garden

Standing above the Linden Sea, the Corsica Tourist Center & Tea Garden offers more than beautiful scenery. It is a gathering place, an information hub, the beginning of the Art Trail, home to a donkey sanctuary, and a starting point for many adventures.

From here, visitors can hike Monte Corse, drive the Circuit de Corse, explore local horse trails, or take to the skies in a hang glider for a bird’s-eye view of the region.

Some visitors arrive looking for information. Others come for the live music, walking trails, or views across the water. Many simply stop to rest awhile before continuing their journey through Corsica.

Created and lovingly maintained by Ceakay (CK) Ballyhoo, the Corsica Tourist Center & Tea Garden serves as both a community gathering place and a gateway to the many destinations, trails, and adventures that make Corsica special.

The View

Before setting off to explore, take a moment to enjoy the view.

From the Tea Garden, visitors are treated to sweeping views across the water and surrounding landscape. Wildflowers sway in the breeze while birds circle overhead. Giant teapots and whimsical teacups add a touch of fun to the garden, creating a space that encourages visitors to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

Whether you choose a quiet bench, a garden table, or the swing overlooking the sea, the view alone is worth the visit.

The Tourist Center

The Corsica Tourist Center serves as an information hub for both residents and visitors.

Here you’ll find information about the Corsica South Coasters community, local events, projects, rental opportunities, and interesting destinations throughout Corsica. Visitors can learn about the region, discover new places to explore, and connect with the many communities that help make Corsica such an active part of mainland Second Life.

Visitors can also learn more about the region through the Corsica South Coasters website, which highlights destinations, events, projects, and community resources throughout Corsica.

For many explorers, this is the first stop on a larger journey.

Monte Corse

Across the Circuit de Corse roadway lies the trailhead for one of Corsica’s most beloved destinations: Monte Corse.

The path winds upward through beautiful scenery toward breathtaking views and hidden discoveries along the way. Whether you’re hiking on foot or exploring on horseback, Monte Corse offers an experience that rewards those willing to venture a little farther from the main roads.

If you enjoy scenic landscapes and quiet exploration, Monte Corse should be on your list.

The Donkey Shelter

One of the most charming features of the area is the donkey shelter created by CK Ballyhoo.

.”These hardworking donkeys have found a safe home here, where they can roam freely and enjoy a peaceful retirement among the orchards and hillsides of Corsica.” CK

Visitors can watch them roam peacefully through grassy paddocks surrounded by stone walls and woodland paths.

Nearby, an orchard climbs the hillside, offering another pleasant walk through the landscape. Follow the path upward and you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views and a refreshing stop overlooking the region.

The sanctuary adds a sense of warmth and care to the area, reminding visitors that community is built through small acts of kindness.

Music in the Tea Garden

Every other Wednesday at 11 AM SLT, the Tea Garden becomes a gathering place for live music.

Residents and visitors come together to enjoy performances in the outdoor garden setting, surrounded by flowers, trees, and ocean views. The relaxed atmosphere makes these events feel less like a concert and more like friends gathering in a beautiful place to share music.

With the sea below, flowers in bloom, and friends gathered beneath the trees, the Tea Garden provides a uniquely Corsican setting for live music.

Information about upcoming performances and community events can be found on the CSC Calendar and Events page.

A Gateway to Corsica

The Corsica Tourist Center & Tea Garden is more than an information center.

It is a place where visitors begin their adventures, where artists and explorers cross paths, where musicians gather, and where rescued donkeys graze peacefully beneath the trees.

Whether you arrive looking for information, art, music, hiking trails, horseback rides, scenic drives, or simply a beautiful view, you’ll find a warm welcome waiting here.

The Corsica Tourist Center & Tea Garden may begin as a stop along your journey, but for many visitors it becomes a destination in its own right.

And like many of the best places in Second Life, you may find yourself staying a little longer than you planned.
