United Headquarters in Second Life is a social club, gallery, and creative space designed to bring people together through art, music, and shared experience.
I was introduced to United Headquarters by Pagan Lane, an artist and the creative force behind the space.
Like many spaces in Second Life, this one came to me through connection—through the people who move between galleries, music, and shared creative worlds.
Some spaces in Second Life are built with a single purpose.
United Headquarters is not one of them.
It’s a space that shifts—between art, music, learning, and community—holding all of it at once.

Teleport to United Headquarters.
What United Headquarters Is
United Headquarters is a social, creative, and community-driven space in Second Life designed to bring people together across different interests and experiences.
At its core, it’s about connection.
- Live DJs and hosts from around the world
- Music spanning rock, electronic, house, trance, indie, and more
- A welcoming, inclusive environment for all identities and orientations
- Games and casual spaces to gather and interact
United Headquarters is built around respect—an environment where inclusivity is explicit, and where the focus stays on connection, creativity, and shared presence. It’s a space that sets its tone early: be kind, be respectful, and make room for others.
It’s not just a venue—it reflects the mindset behind it..
Pagan Lane
Pagan Lane, the owner of United Headquarters, describes himself as a multimedia artist living within a virtual world—one whose work explores philosophy, psychology, and the human condition. His creative practice moves between digital manipulation, photo-based work, and traditional painting, with subject matter ranging from abstract to figurative.
That perspective carries into the space itself.
There’s a clear sense of intention here—not just in how the space looks, but in how it’s meant to function: as a place grounded in equity, authenticity, and shared experience.

A Space with Multiple Layers
United Headquarters isn’t just one environment—it’s several, all working together. At the same time, each layer brings something different.
Club & Social Space
Music drives the energy here, with DJs and hosts creating a constantly shifting atmosphere—from high-energy dance sets to more relaxed social moments.
Classroom
A quieter layer exists alongside the music. A classroom space supporting things like German language learning, extending the space beyond entertainment into shared knowledge and growth.
United Headquarters Gallery
The gallery brings a moment of stillness into the space. Here, the energy slows and shifts.
Opening April 28, the gallery features the work of LeaFy.
Framed and carefully lit, the artwork creates a contrast to the movement of the club—inviting visitors to pause, look closer, and step into a different rhythm.
Sandbox / Runway Space
There’s also a flexible sandbox area—currently being used as a fashion runway for a themed show:
“Walk with the Gods.”
It’s a space designed to change, adapt, and be used by the community in evolving ways.

United Headquarters Gallery — Featured Artist: LeaFy
LeaFy’s work moves between detailed black-and-white pencil drawing and more expansive digital pieces, but always returns to the same core—story, character, and imagined worlds.
Her inspiration comes from a wide range of roleplaying and world-driven games—spaces where narrative, identity, and environment are deeply connected. That sense of immersion carries into her work, where each piece feels like part of something larger, just beyond the frame.
“I love to have found a virtual home in SL where I can show my art, share music, and be the creative leaf that I am… Family and friends is what we need.” LeaFy
A Story Across the Walls
What makes this exhibit especially compelling is that it isn’t just a collection of individual works.
The work unfolds across two gallery spaces—so take your time, and let the pieces connect as you move between them.
There is a quiet, continuous thread running through the larger pieces—stretching from Gallery 1 to Gallery 2.(The second gallery is accessible via a teleporter pointing up.)

A story begins to emerge.
Not one that is explained outright, but one that unfolds through image, emotion, and presence:
- hints of identity
- fragments of transformation
- reflections of what she loves, what she’s become
You don’t just look at the work—you move through it.
And at the center of it all, her own grounding perspective:
“In my opinion… I’m just a girl.” LeaFy
The Experience
Walking through United Headquarters, you move between energies:
- From music to stillness
- From conversation to observation
- From structure to openness
You can dance, learn, explore, or simply exist in the space. And because of that, the experience never feels fixed.
And that flexibility is the point.

Why This Space Matters
United Headquarters reflects something essential about Second Life:
- Spaces don’t need to be defined too early
- Creativity doesn’t stay in one category
- Community builds through use, not just design
United Headquarters
It’s not just a club.
Not just a gallery.
Not just a place to visit.
It’s a space becoming what people bring into it—one connection at a time.
The United Headquarters gallery officially opens April 28th, featuring the work of LeaFy, with the space already taking shape around it.
If you explore United Headquarters in Second Life, take your time—this is a space that begins to unfold as you move through it.
