Hippiestock — Every January in Second Life

More than a festival, it’s a gathering.

January at Hippiestock is a shared space — where music drifts through art-filled landscapes and community forms naturally. Not a single moment, but a month of connection, creativity, and presence.

Founded in 2011 by Hippie Bowman. Hippiestock began as a one-day celebration of live music, peace, and community in Second Life. Beginning in 2015, Owl Dragonash assisted Hippie with booking musicians and supporting the event’s growth. In late 2022, Hippie passed the event to Owl, who invited Ceakay Ballyhoo to help carry the vision forward.

Together, they expanded Hippiestock into a full month-long January festival starting in 2023 . A tradition continuing every year.

🌸 What to Expect During Hippiestock

Throughout the month, visitors can expect:

  • Live music performances across genres
  • Immersive themed builds and art installations
  • Community gatherings, dance events, and spontaneous moments
  • Space to show up exactly as you are

Hippiestock invites the hippie and bohemian spirit — but above all, it invites participation.

Come wander.
Or simply sit and be part of the moment.
