🎉 Opening Party | August 19th | Michiel Bechir Gallery | Dress Tropical
🎧 DJ Toya – 12 PM SLT | Featuring: Starlight • Kisma • Owl —Your ride
There’s a quiet magic in walking into a gallery where three distinct visions meet. Each one a world of its own, yet speaking to the others in subtle ways.
This month at Michiel Bechir Gallery, you’ll find stillness and shadow, visionary color, and ritual-like transformation all under one roof.

Photos by Starlight
🌙 Starlight Stern – Between Silence and Motion
Second Life has been part of Starlight’s story since 2007. Over the years—sometimes as an observer, sometimes as a creator—she’s followed what she calls “the quiet in-between.” Her work focuses on the mood that hangs between light and shadow, suggestion and silence.
Sacred Riverside by Starlight
Since 2024, her photography has become more intentional, exploring atmosphere and space. Through post-processing in Photoshop, her images transform into inner landscapes—pieces of memory you can almost step into.

🎨 Kisma K. Stepanich-Reidling – Petals – The Art of Unfolding
There are seasons in a life when something quietly stirs, a whisper, a nudge, a soft ache toward something more.
In Petals, Kisma offers a visual meditation on becoming. Twelve paintings. Twelve petals. Each a threshold, a breath, a tender moment of return. Drawn from her deeply personal journey, the series invites viewers into the inner garden of creative awakening. These petals are symbols—of permission, transformation, trust, and truth.
Compassion by Kisama – from WHISPERING ORACLE
Though the work began in the intimate pages of an art journal. It has become something universal: the longing to say yes, the beauty of the in-between, the courage to be seen. This is not an exposition of answers, but an invitation into process, presence, and possibility.
Kisma is a visionary mixed media artist based in Newport Beach, California. She brings her tangible paintings into Second Life alongside the mesh frames she creates to display them. Her SL gallery offers even more to explore—inside, upstairs, and out in the garden.

🕯️ Owl Dragonash – Marked By Shadow, Moved by Light
My own work in this show, Marked By Shadow, Moved by Light, follows a narrative arc. Mythic origins, through ritual and surrender, to emergence.
These pieces are built like invocations, each one a moment of becoming. They live in that shifting space where shadow offers softness and light becomes a reminder that we are still transforming.
