🧭 The Artist: Inara Pey

With nearly two decades of active engagement in Second Life, Inara Pey is a gentle but powerful voice—one whose words and images have shaped how so many of us see this world. Her long-running blog, Living in a Modemworld, is more than a source of updates and reviews—it’s an archive of curiosity, care, and commitment to virtual culture.

In 2022, Linden Lab featured her in the official Second Life Spotlight, noting how her work is

“rich with thoughtfulness, passion, and expertise.”

And it is.

Through her misted landscapes and thoughtful framing, Inara shows us how digital space can carry memory, emotion, and place. Her photos are quiet storytellers—reverent, inviting, atmospheric delight.

It would be no exaggeration to say that my own Second Life—and my path as a blogger—would look very different without Inara’s influence. I try not to fangirl too hard, but it’s true: she opened a window, and I stepped through it. Inara Is impressive and her blog is one you can trust.

đź–Ľ Inside the Exhibit: Frame by Frame

This exhibit gathers landscapes that feel like breaths. Sunlight filters through distant trees, paths curve gently into the unknown, water waits, glasslike and still. These are not static images—they hum. They listen.

Each frame invites you inward.
Inviting you inside the frame, into a quiet, liminal world where story lives not in words but in atmosphere.

✨ Curated by Mareea Farrasco

Mareea Farrasco, artist and curator of IMAGO Art Gallery, has created a space that feels more like a poem than a parcel. She is known for thoughtful curation, naturalistic themes, and exhibits that breathe with meaning.

IMAGOLand itself is a joy to explore—gentle scenery, skyboxes tucked into clouds, and a sense of slowness that pairs perfectly with Inara’s work.

🌌 Hoot go see this!

  • If you love virtual art, come for the atmosphere.
  • If you explore Second Life for wonder, let these images remind you why.
  • If you cherish community, show up—and feel the space between us close just a little.

Inara’s work has never been just about photography.
In my opinion It’s about reverence. Stillness. Presence.

Her past exhibits ( some you will find reviewed on this blog) —always leave something behind.

They linger.
This one will too.
