Sometimes an exhibit just feels like the right place to be. That’s how I felt stepping into Selen’s Gallery this month.
On June 10th, curator and artist Selen Miotaur opened three new exhibitions.
Featuring thoughtful, expressive, and deeply personal work by Sabie M., Cybele Moon (aka Hana Hoobinoo), and Kicca Igaly. These exhibits are showing through August 2025.
Each artist brings something distinct, and together they create a quiet storm of emotion, memory, and creative energy. If you love art that invites you to pause and reflect, this one’s for you.

Abstract art by Sebie M.
🖌️ Sabie M. – Underpinnings
Sabie is originally from the U.S. and has been painting—and teaching others to paint—for decades.
Known for her vibrant florals and layered abstract techniques. She’s now shares pieces that speak to personal healing and quiet strength.
Her exhibit is filled with abstract layers that echo healing, depth, and life’s fragility. The works are raw and real—rich with texture and emotion that lingers.

Photo art by Cybele Moon
🌫️ Cybele Moon – Dwellers of the Windfall Light
Also known as Hana Hoobinoo, Cybele is a storyteller through and through.
She has returned to SL after a long absence. Her work blends photography and myth. It captures the ephemeral beauty of light and shadow.
Her images sit in that space between memory and magic. There’s quiet beauty here, and a sense of reverence for life’s softer moments.

I unplug by Kicca Igaly
🌱 Kicca Igaly – Stacco la Spina (I Unplug)
Kicca is an Italian artist whose 3D builds have been quiet treasures in SL for years—though she’s rarely exhibited recently.
This new installation is personal and reflective, built around the idea of self-care, play, and tuning into your inner world.
It’s playful, personal, and reminds you to breathe, unplug, take space, and maybe find your joy again.

🌟 Selen & Her Sky Gallery
Selen Miotaur is a French digital artist who has been part of Second Life since 2008. Her gallery is a space of light, stillness, and discovery.
A showcase for her own luminous, often abstract photo-based works. It has grown into a thoughtfully curated venue for 2D, 3D, and machinima-based art.
Every three months, Selen introduces a new mix of artists. She carefully chooses works that bring feeling, presence, and originality into the space. You’ll find soft lighting, emotional detail, and room to breathe—her style is subtle, poetic, and full of care.
Selen’s Gallery isn’t just a place to look at art—it’s a place to feel it. And her own creative voice is woven into the fabric of the gallery, making each visit feel like a conversation.
