Behind the images of “Marked by Shadow, Moved by Light” lies a quiet ritual of creation. From the charged spaces of Angel of Pain to the intimacy of my black box studio, each piece emerged slowly, shaped by shadow, carved in light. The full story opens August 19th at Michiel Bechir Gallery.
Three distinct visions meet this month at Michiel Bechir Gallery—Starlight’s quiet in-between moments, Kisma’s vibrant intentional creativity, and my own ritual-inspired Marked By Shadow, Moved by Light. Together with Michiel’s permanent collection, the exhibit is a journey through memory, color, shadow, and illumination.
Shadow bends, light sharpens. In Second Life, every ritual—whether draped in rope or wrapped in moonlight—follows the same arc: threshold, transformation, return. I have walked them both. Come through.
