🌼 Hippiestock 2026: Flower Power in Full Bloom
When you first arrive at this year’s Hippiestock, the feeling is immediate.
Wow.
Watercolor flowers spill across the landscape.
They are layered, luminous, and impossible to ignore.
Color fills every corner of the region. It feels playful and expansive, as if the land itself decided to bloom all at once.
Nothing here is subtle. Nor should it be.
This year’s Hippiestock fully embraces Flower Power. Ceakay Ballyhoo intentionally created a trippy, flower-filled world where repetition, color, and texture become part of the experience.
🌸 Everything Is Flowers
Flowers rise in bold waves. Light and pigment move together.
Stars bloom overhead. Music notes drift outward from the Flower Speakers, shaped as flowers themselves.
Everything here becomes a flower, from the sky above to the sound moving through the space.
This is Flower Power turned outward. Psychedelic. Joyful. Very much alive.
And yet, despite all that color, the world feels easy to be in.
Paths invite wandering.
Open spaces invite dancing.
Quiet corners reward those who slow down long enough to notice the details.
🎨 Inside the Artist: CK Ballyhoo’s Process
CK doesn’t build by assembling prefabs and calling it done.
She builds the way she paints.
🎨 Hand-Painted From the Start
Most of the flowers you see began as real-life watercolor paintings. Many were created using metallic watercolors. Others were painted with traditional pigments.
These paintings were then carefully translated into textures and brought into Second Life.
Color becomes surface.
Surface becomes environment.
🌿 Retextured With Intention
Not every object started from scratch.
Some elements, like the trees began as full-perm items. CK retextured them using her own hand-painted work, bringing them into the same visual language as the rest of the build.
Nothing feels copied.
Nothing feels automated.
Nothing feels mass-produced.
This is not a theme park build.
It’s an artist’s imagination, rezzed and shared.
🌈 The World Opens as You Move
The Flower Power landscape rewards curiosity.
Follow the paths and you’ll discover open gathering spaces designed for dancing and connection. Wander just a little off the obvious routes and quieter moments appear.
Places to sit.
Places to look up.
Places to let the color wash over you.
🌍 Creative Connections
Throughout the month, you’ll also find info booths highlighting creative projects from across Second Life.
They’re gentle invitations — pause, learn something new, and connect.
🌿 Room for Stillness
Among all the color and movement, there is space to pause.
Hippiestock has always been about celebration.
It has also always been about presence.
This year’s world understands that balance.
Tucked between blooms and pathways are moments that naturally slow you down. The land invites you to breathe, to rest, to simply be for a while.

Our first meditation of the month takes place January 4th, guided by April.
