Butterfly Effect exhibit By Rita Glad ( Sanem Albatros ) In Second Life
I visited Rita Glad’s showroom today to see her new exhibit, Butterfly Effect.
It’s all about transformation. You can feel it the moment you arrive — the shift between one style and the next, the way the work refuses to settle.

Rita at her Gallery
Rita plays with contrasts. One wall holds a black-and-white photograph that feels quiet and still, like the air just before a storm. Across from it, a hand-drawn sketch full of motion and rough edges. And then there are the 3D Paint pieces — colorful, dimensional, almost humming with energy. It’s like walking through three different worlds at once.
I found myself slowing down here. Each medium has its own rhythm. The photographs pull you in close, making you notice shadows and small details. The sketches feel lighter, as if caught in motion. The digital paintings… those are the wild ones, with colors that seem to pop under the gallery lights.
Here- ” Butterfly Effect ” by Rita Glad
Rita joined Second Life in 2007. She explored roleplay scenes, discovered new places, made shapes and characters, and met people through her art.
That history shows in her work. She creates without chasing trends or worrying about rules. Her art is bold, unapologetic, and unpredictable — and that’s exactly what makes it worth seeing.

From Rita’s Butterfly effect exhibit
Butterfly Effect isn’t just about transformation as a theme. It’s transformation in action. Each piece feels like it’s in conversation with the next — light to shadow, soft to bold, quiet to loud. The mix is unpredictable, and that’s what makes it interesting.
The variety doesn’t scatter her voice — it shows her range.

I left feeling like I’d seen a snapshot of an artist in constant motion. The work might change, the medium might shift, but the spark shines. Transformation often feels messy in the moment but looks beautiful in hindsight — and this exhibit captures that feeling.
