Inara Pey a virtual Wonder!

Inara Pey has influenced myself and many of her readers views of Second Life with her blog – Living In a Modem World. She has been publishing since 2007.

“Within these pages you’ll find a mix of news, reviews, commentary and opinion – all presented from my own perspective”

Inara Pey’s blog

Through her blogging she has taken photos of many regions in Second Life and her photography is wonderful!

Inara Pey  is currently exhibiting

“One if by Land, Two if by Water”

at Hoot Suite Art Gallery through May 15th

“One if by Land Two if by Water, an admitted play on Longfellow’s poem, Paul Revere’s Ride. People might want to read something into this, and that is their prerogative “

I Love Inara’s photography she snaps photos of regions she blogs. Many of her photos have encouraged me to visit these builds and see the beauty first hand.

Midnight in Paris – Inara. Pey

Between her words and photography Inara depicts a varied view of Second Life and its inhabitants as well as keeping us informed on Linden Lab happenings, viewers, some planes, boats and space.

In many ways Inara’s perspective has shaped my Second Life. I would be so less informed and visited so many less places. Inara’s strength and ability to do so much in Sl defiantly influenced my ability to do what I do in SL. Although she is always busy she seems to squeeze a lot into a day, seeing and doing everything!

Inara is someone I admire very much!

“ Virtual explorer & peripheral visionary (I see the future, but only way off to the side). Music, astronomy, space flight, sci-fi, Second Life, books, films.”

Shameless self-promotion in Second Life

Iam so thrilled to have Inara Pey @ Hoot suite!!!

Inara Pey: Living in a Modemworld

Hoot Suite Gallery: One if by Land, Two if by Water

The reality of this post is that it is a piece of shameless self-promotion,  something I actually try not to engage in, lest my ego gets out of the biscuit tin I try to keep it in and starts running around yapping for attention…

Towards the end of 2020 Owl Dragonash very kindly invited me to exhibit some of my blog images at her Hoot Suite Gallery in Bellisseria. It’s not the first time I’ve been asked to exhibit my work – but each time I am, I feel a mix of emotions – notably nervousness and a feeling that it’s not really something for me; as I’ve often – and genuinely  – note I don’t consider myself anywhere close to being any kind of artist. However, Owl is a good friend and someone I admire tremendously, so I…

Featured Exhibit : Charlie Namiboo at Eulennest Art Gallery

I am really enjoying the writing on Art Korner!

Charlie’s reflections at Eulennest in Second Life

Inara Pey: Living in a Modemworld

Eulennest Art Gallery: Charlie Namiboo

I first became acquainted with Charlie Namiboo as a result of her involvement in the (long since retired) Frisland region, which I had the pleasure of documenting in these pages on a number of occasions in 2015 / 2016.

Back then we did joke that we had something in common: she referred to herself a the Typo Queen, and I had a habit of wearing a tag that read Kween of Tpyoland. However, and to my shame, it was only later that I became familiar with her work as an extremely talented photographer. So, it’s with a great deal of pleasure that I’m able to write about her latest exhibition of work, which opened at the start of April at Kitten Mills’ Eulennest Art Gallery.

Well, so you asked me about my reasons why I started taking pictures. I guess, it was the…
